Brandy Swartz
About Mrs. Swartz
Mrs. Swartz is currently teaching fifth grade at GASD. She lives in the district with her husband, Colby, and two children, Paisley and Grayson. She enjoys hiking, reading, baking, helping with volleyball, and being outside with her family and their four dogs. Mrs. Swartz is a 2014 graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, she spent time as a day-to-day substitute and Junior High Volleyball Coach at GASD before teaching full time in the Wellsboro Area School District for three years. During that time, she earned her Master’s Degree in Reading at Edinboro University. In 2020, Mrs. Swartz came back to GASD as a Pre-K teacher for a year before heading to 5th grade!
