Seneca Highlands Intermediate Unit 9 is Seeking Applicants for a Network/Systems Technician: Full-time IT position supporting Austin and Galeton School Districts. Successful applicants must have good written and verbal communication skills, be courteous and polite, be service-oriented, and be organized. Must demonstrate the ability to do basic troubleshooting of devices, networks, and classroom technology or demonstrate the ability to learn these skills quickly. Galeton Area School District will be dismissing today, Thursday, September 22, at 12:15PM.
The Mobile Dentist is at GASD today (9/19) and tomorrow (9/20). The Mobile Dentist team transforms the school health office into a dental clinic during their visit and provides dental care for students in elementary and high school. Forms are available in the main office and the Mobile Dentist will return on October 4th-6th.
Reminder: Tomorrow, Friday, September 9th is school picture day.
Homecoming will be held on October 15 this year. We are not accepting any wood for the bonfire until October 1st.

ATTENDANT VACANCY
The Galeton Area School District is seeking applicants for FITNESS CENTER ATTENDANT to work 3:30 – 6:30 PM weekdays and possibly
7:30 – 10:30 AM Saturdays. $10.00 per hour/part-time. Duties include but not limited to daily cleaning/disinfection of equipment and the room; organizing equipment, memberships, sign-in sheets, etc.; actively monitoring the fitness area and ensure proper use by patrons; coordinating activities and fitness center needs with the Business Office.
